Help Please!

My daughter wasn't diagnosed until she was 2(she's 4 now).

1) Did your baby have any symptoms when diagnosed? If not, when did he/she start showing symptoms?
My daughter just had GI symptoms at the time of diagnosis (pooping 4+ times a day, loose stool and occasional oil in...

I totally understand what you are going through. My daughter is 4 and wasn't diagnosed until she was almost 3. She has always been small but always gained weight and stayed on her growth curve. When I mentioned seeing oil in her poop a few times to her ped, she mentioned CF and celiac. I was...

How long does your child do the vest?

My daughter is 4 and doesn't have any pulmonary symptoms yet so we were told to do the Vest for a total of 30 minutes a day. I have her do it all at once since it is easier to just get it done while she is watching a special show. If she has a cold we do 20 minutes 2-3 times a day depending on...

For example if she hasn't eaten in a few hours, I assume she is hungry and will make her lunch. Often times she barely eats it and I get...

Son had abnormal Newborn test.. Please Read

I don't think anything you described sounds specific for CF. Baby poop can vary greatly in consistency. It is only considered abnormal if it is black, bloody or greasy. Rapid breathing is normal to see during certain stages of sleep. My daughter wasn't diagnosed until she was almost 3. She...

    Painful sweat test?

My daughter had it done when she was 3 and she didn't react to it at all. My son was tested at a month old and slept through it.
