Thanks. I did call the nurse, so hopefully they will call me back soon. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

    1 yr of ttc

Hi Christian, Although I have not gone through the heartache you have in the past year with being unable to conceive, I know it must be very difficult. I (fortunately) only had to go through one month of a failed attempt at getting pregnant (since I got pregnant on IUI #2), but I remember how...

    eFlow & Colistin?

Hi all, I have had an increased cough now for a few weeks, so my doctor started me on Colistin (which is what I used a few years ago for an exacerbation). However, I don't know if he prescribed the dose for my eFlow or not. He told me to mix 3 mL of sterile water with the Colisin vial and...

    air purifiers

I had a small one at one time, although I didn't really notice a difference with it (maybe because it was too small). All I know is that purifiers with "ozone" are not good for CF lungs, so stay away from those.

    Tiredness

Well, let me tell you, I am tired all the time! I have my blood drawn yearly and I have never had a problem with low salt. Tiredness with CF often happens because your body is fighting off infection all the time and it just tires you out faster. I get extremely tired in the summer months when...

    Anxiety--UPDATED

Anxiety Hi Caitlin, I know it is very common for people with chronic illnesses to deal with anxiety and/or depression. I have had a mild form of both since my early 20's and have tried a couple different meds for it. It's definitely a horrible feeling to be anxious. I would definitely seek...

    more than 2 children?

I know, the outlook was so grim when we were younger. I remember my father showing me an article in the newspaper when I was a kid about a CF woman in her 30's who gave birth to a little girl. It was such a big deal back then that a woman could carry a child. Even though there is a lot of...

We are going to be foster parents

Hi Nicole, That is great! My spouse and I have brought up fostering a couple times as well, so it definitely might be something we look into in the future. I think it is a great idea if that is what you want to do. I definitely want to hear how your experience goes. Keep us updated and good...
