We are going to be foster parents

Hi Nicole, That is great! My spouse and I have brought up fostering a couple times as well, so it definitely might be something we look into in the future. I think it is a great idea if that is what you want to do. I definitely want to hear how your experience goes. Keep us updated and good...

    more than 2 children?

Oh my gosh! Are you insane?!?! LOL I have a 3.5-year-old and a 2-year-old, and I don't even know what I'd do with myself if I had another one. And oddly enough, we did consider having one more recently...but after thinking long and hard, we realized two was plenty <img...

    Worried about clinic

As a person with CF, I went through a stage when I was afraid of clinic visits. It's almost as if you know or are afraid to hear something bad about your health. So I think it's only natural to be afraid of clinic visits.

Hi there, 1) For me, my PFT's did not decrease during pregnancy. In fact, they actually went up a little, higher than ever, during my 2nd trimester. I did have an exacerbation at 4 months pregnant (not sure what my PFTs were), but I took Colistin and it took care of it. Even though my PFT's...

    Marriage and Families

Hi there, I got married when I was 25 and had my first child the same year (second child came along when I was 27). I did not take CF into account at all when getting married or having a family and I simply followed my heart. The timing seemed right for everything. We were ready for...
