from what my cf doctor told me was the money from the blue ones goes to the cf foundation and the money for the purple ones goes to the milan foundation named after that little girl (milan something?)but both are for cf awareness, but all the money for the blue ones goes to cf.

it didnt take long at all, actually i had my social worker call them and they worked it out so my records all got faxed directly to them so didnt have to wait on mail.then i got approved pretty quick, and each month i would get a bill for $13 and send it off then they would send my card...

the medicaid i recieved while i was working basically was the same except for with regular medicaid if you make over a certain amount you have a spenddown, but through the workers program you dont you just pay a monthly premium. example-when i first got on it my spenddown through...
i also live in illinois and have medicaid, the only thing i ever pay is 3 bucks for certain prescriptions and the generacs are free and the medicaid pays all the hospital stays and whatever else.and i worked the last 7 years up untill april, then i quit and signed up for social security...

no, i didn't get headaches i just couldn't hardly breathe afterwards and would be gasping for air. i used to do tobi 28 on, 28 off but now i do it full time, never off.
well i'm sure u know the odds but i am 28 and have cf but my sister is 23 and my brother is 19 and they both are in perfect health, and my sister has 2 kids of her own that also are fine. just a little info.
i was supposed to alternate tobi & colistin, each every other 28 days but each time i got done with the colistin i could hardly breathe and would have to immediately do an albuterol treatment. so my doc told me to stop the colistin and just do tobi everyday instead of 28 off & on
I also see Rosenbluth at Barnes. in fact i was just discharged from 3200 yesterday, just in time for x-mas. yeah!! still a couple more of us on the floor, hope they get home before x-mas to. also i think the nurses there are great.
