We just returned from Disney World in Orlando. I don't know if their policies are different from DisneyLand, but this is what we did in Florida.
We went to guest services, got our disabled pass. Basically, it does the same thing as the Fast Pass, but you don't have to go get your "time to...

Thanks. I did, because I wasn't sure how this worked and wanted to make sure I was able to reach everyone.
Sometimes I feel like a child again trying to deal with everything.

We have an opportunity to go to Disney at the end of the month (as long as Faith is able to go). Does anyone have any hints or suggestions on what to do. We'll be coming home with IV's and were told she can't get in the water, so no water park. I called Disney and they told me we can go to Guest...

This is one of the antibiotics they put my daughter on because of this Mycobacteria she started growing. They told us we'll probably be going home with IV's and this will be one of them. This is apparently an awful bacteria and is difficult to treat. We've been in for 5 weeks and 4 days...
My 10 year old daughter (just diagnosed in November) is in the hospital for the 3rd time since November. We thought it was going to be a routine tune-up, but after a week she became severely sick for the next 3 weeks. Ended up she received a Mycobacteria, strain Abcessus. Does anyone know...

This is our families first walk too. It's in Richmond, VA on May 20. I don't know if we raised a lot of money, but I'll take whatever we can. I think right now it's a little over $3,000.
I called the Foundation Care and they can pretty much do everything. Steph is right, insurance doesn't pay for it, but it's only $0.60 a vial. So I can pay $18.00 for a 30 day supply and it's free shipping. That might be worth it since I think we may only need it on average 2 times a week...
I called our mail-in pharmacy and they said they need the NDC# and they could help locate it or see who would carry it so they could pay for it. If anyone knows this number from a premixed 7% HS (or even 6%), could you please let me know what you have.
Thank you so much!!

Well this has been helpful. My 10 yr old (just diagnosed 11/05) was put on HS. She still doesn't produce, but every now and then she'll say her stomache hurts. She'll also get those loose bowels again (I was SOOOO glad to see those leave - and so was she!). She says it gets just below her...
I've been reading that there is a pre-mixed vial of 7% HS. Is this true? Our doctor did not know about it and asked me to verify this. We don't mind mixing it up, but it's easier to travel with if it came in vials. Not to mention that the reminder is stored in our fridge for the next 2-3...
My 10 yr old was just diagnosed in Nov 2005. We've been put on the HS. I mix it up using 10% saline, 6 cc's of sterile water. I pull out 5cc's using a syringe. Store the reminder, which we use about two more times. My question: It looks like I can get a pre-mix 7% solution. Is that...
On the topic of this car converter, has anyone tried it with the vest? I have a 10 year daughter just diagnosed in the last 3 months and we have 5 children. Our lives have slowed down a little bit, but I don't want this to get us down or deterr us from doing anything. We're in the car alot...

We were told my daughter was mild to moderate. She was diagnosed a few months ago and 9 years old. She just turned 10 in November. She coughed all the time, had large foul smelling bowel movements and had a rectal prolapse at the age of 3 and no one picked up on these symptoms. She was being...
