We found out at 20 weeks pregnant that DS had CF. I really feel that it was a blessing to know so early. It was hard to find out but gave us so much time to research the disease and get in touch with people who knew more about it - mostly the people on here <img...

Thank you everyone for your replies. His stomach felt fine this morning and then he had a more regular stool today (floated but no grease <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> ). His appetite also seems to be getting much better!
Again, thank you for responding so...

There is a chance that he did not get his enzymes for maybe a snack. Also, he's a huge banana eater and I never give him enzymes with them but he has been eating like two per sitting... wondering if that alone could cause this? It's just so strange how much and how out of the blue it is. When...

DS has been doing great for the past year or two on his Creon-12. He is always at the max dose and is also on Prevacid to help with the enzymes.
Yesterday he started having greasy stools to the point where he couldn't hold it. Last night he complained of a tummy-ache and had more grease and...

When I was around 20 weeks pregnant they found an echogenic bowel on my son as well. This is the reason we did genetic testing on DH and I to find out that it was most likely CF. We did follow up screenings as well and the "white spot" never changed so they were not worried about it. He was...

Thank you for all of your support Harriett. He's doing much better today, so far no fever and the cough is not quite as bad. He's been up and moving around and finally eating again.
Hopefully he'll be back to baseline in a couple of days and maybe that will last a couple of weeks at least...

It was the ER doc that looked at it - I need to request it be sent to clinic. I thought that the regular docs just sometimes looked at "normal CF xrays" and thought that it was worse than it was....not better (if that makes sense).
I called the CF doc last night after the hospital, and he...
