<P>So, here's the scoop. I live and teach in Alaska. For whatever reason, we do not pay social security but instead are under the TRS system--Alaska Teacher Retirement System. Both my employer and myself contribute to my retirement. Is this considered private retirement? Unfortunately, that...

<P>So, my baseline FEV1 has been 75% for years and lately high 60s. From late Aug to mid Oct (about 6 weeks), I dropped to 37%. I was hospitalized for 1 1/2 weeks and let go when my FEV1 was at 51. A week later it had risen only to 54. After another week of antibiotics through my PICC, it...

Wow, Melissa!!! How do you have time for all that? I have recently had a major decrease in lung function myself and after antibiotics quit bringing back my lung function, I was told to exercise. The problem is that with working full time, I don't have the time.
I tried to post from my phone, but it didn't work. Anyway, I am in the hospital, lost 25 pounds since June. Fev1 dropped from 80 to 37 and insurance is only covering 60% of stay. So, I'm trying to save money and am trying acapella instead of being charged for respiratory therapists and cpt. My...

<P>Every time I go into the hospital for IV drugs, my doc makes me stay for at least a week. I know that in other places many don't even check into the hospital. We have no place to get PICC lines placed out patient, so I would at least have to stay overnight. I know my doc lets those who...

Why does my eflow leak? It will drip in between the two chambers, where it is divided by the blue piece (that I think is supposed to work like a gasket) and the metal head. If it even drips a few drips, that is half my medication, or a good part of it. I check to make sure everything is in...

I agree that the healthier you are probably can make beginning a relationship easier. When my husband and I hooked up, I didn't even do normal lung maintenance (Vest, breathing treatments, etc.). I had frequent sinus issues and that was about it. I'd always been told I had a mild case of CF...

I was going to get mine done about 5 years ago, but when I told them I had MRSA, they told me that would triple my cost. Needless to say, I didn't get them done, but I wish I could, especially when I lose weight...
