I was on the VX-770 drug trial for over a year and just ended it.  Not sure if I am able to talk about it on a public forum, but if you pm me, I would be happy to share.  And yes, it was a pill that was taken every 12 hours.

When I was born, CFers died in childhood.  When I was 21, the average life expectancy was 18.  Here I am at almost 35 and the average life expectancy is 37.5.  I'm betting in 10 years, the average life expectancy will be about 50.

Everyone has shared great ideas!  The only thing I can add is that I have a large garbage can nearby for tissues and vials and I changed out my nightstand for a fridge, so that I don't have to go out to the kitchen to get my Pulmozyme and Cayston.

I have chronic back pain, but it seems to be my intercostal muscles.  Whenever, I have a coughing fit, it will start hurting and then hurt every time I cough for a couple of months.  I've never had pain in my spine, though.

My heads are always getting clogged from using them for other medications--pulmozyme, albuterol and I'm starting back on 7% Hyper Sal. Anyway, what I'm wondering is if anyone has ordered extra heads? Do you need a prescription? How much do they cost?
