    bronchoscopy vs. spitting sputum culture

This may be a dumb question, but I have never had a bronchoscopy. I have always just coughed up something for a sputum culture. When do they do a bronchoscopy? Is that just for children who can't cough something up or what? Thanks! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

    Cayston!

i Cayston! Lauren, I am on Cayston for PA and have MRSA. I am not currently taking anything for the MRSA. I was taking Septra DS, but then started to get small variant colonies, so my doctor took me off.

    Adoption Advice Needed

My husband and I adopted our son Christopher almost six years ago now! It was a domestic adoption. We started in about August through an adoption agency to get our home study and paperwork done. We said that I had CF, of course, but did make a big deal about it. We explained that I was...

    Cayston!

Yep! It virtually eliminated my PA during the study, to where I had to get off of the study, since I had two PA-free cultures. I have used it since it came out on the market and it has decreased my population of PA according to my doc.

does your insurance pay for vitamin level checks

So, my insurance company is not covering my vitamin level checks. It is over $600 that I do not have. In addition, because my vitamin levels were really low last visit, my doc wants to run them again my next visit. Any suggestions to how to get my insurance company to cover these? Or is this...

    Mould

I tend to avoid mold at all costs, but I am allergic to mold--both indoor and out. I agree about wearing a mask and passing it to someone else if possible.
