Oh I wish I would have had that link sooner. Even when DS was in NICU after he was born, the doc that did my C-section came in and tried to touch DS without washing her hands. The NICU nurse quickly stepped in and told her to wash up first. I always thought that was funny - and I was very happy...

I would set aside the whole sweat test if the gene mutations are known. Then, I would imagine, you should be able to have them tested for the mutations that your CFer has. That's what we did with our DS w/out CF.

Another thing, we were told that we would know if the albuterol was working if he wan't coughing as much after using it for 3-4 hours. When I do the albuterol neb along with his vest, should he still not cough? Should I worry about this??
