    Tobi and Colistin during pregnancy

Leah, I have seen that Tobi is a category D, which is my concern (that and my one doc saying not to stay on it). I agree 100% that any inhaled med will not enter the blood stream at as high concentration as IV tobra would. At this point, I think that regardless of what my docs say, I would stay...

    Allergic to port dressing ...

I am not allergic to tegaderm but very sensitive to adhesive in general. I use IV 3000. It is like tegaderm but breathes MUCH better. I know that when I have posted about this before, someone suggested Sorbaview. I have never used it personally, though.

    Tobi and Colistin during pregnancy

Thanks for the words of encouragement <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I am concerned about having to go off both or either of the these meds. I like the idea of doing Tobi every 6 weeks, so at least I would still be getting it.

    Tobi and Colistin during pregnancy

Hi all, My husband and I are TTC. We have been "interrupted" a recent exacerbation. As a result of the recent exacerbation, I had a bronchoscopy done and the results showed a highly resistant strain of PA primarily sensitive to Colistin and high concentrations of Tobramycin (i.e. Tobi). While I...
