    TOBI podhaler

Ugh! I agree about it having too much powder for one dose. Yuck, but for people who can handle it it will save a lot of time.

prayer request for Nicole Pisani Frame

Such sad news! I have been following her blog for some time now. I hope they can stop her bleed and that both her and her son are okay. CF is such a horrendous disease.

Azithromycin may predispose cystic fibrosis patients to mycobacterial infection??

This makes me nervous because I have been on it for years! I have major problems with inflammation and asthma so my doc thinks the pros outweigh the cons, but it still makes me nervous. I would love to hear what other CFers docs have said about this.

    Those with DDF508 Mutation

I agree that hearing other DDF508s can conceive is so inspiring. My doc said CFers are sub-fertile rather than infertile, but it seems that I couldn't find anyone that actually was successful without doing IVF. It is always great to hear success stories.

    mucus

I have to agree with the people that recommend exercise. It is the best airway clearance. Don't stop other forms of clearance (flutter, vest, acapella) because those are vital to your health as well. I took the last week off of exercise (I swim) and I have had so much more mucus and coughing...

    Picc Line

Like others suggested it may be from the dressing. My entire arm turns into a huge blister by the end of my 2 weeks due to the dressing. It is ugly and horrendously itchy, but hasn't caused any "real" problems. Let us know what you find out from the home nurse!

    Those with DDF508 Mutation

As you know I am in the same boat as you mmurray so I am very curious as well as to the ability for DD508s to get pregnant naturally. My CF doc and OBs (I have seen a regular and a high risk) keep telling me I have to wait 12 months to see a specialist, but I see many of your docs let you see...

    Question for CF Moms

I have your same mutation (DD508) and am trying to get pregnant as well. I haven't been trying for very long and am already frustrated!! Would love to hear if any DD508s were able to get pregnant naturally.

    Digestive Enzymes

I did not have success with Creon so I used Ultrase for years. When Ultrase was taken off the market I switched to Zenpep. I love Zenpep. I actually feel way better on Zenpep than I did on Ultrase. My "bad" days went from monthly to almost non-existent! To answers your question about symptoms...
