So we were able to get into the pediatrician today. She looked at his tonsils and said they didn't look bad. She did order another "barium swallow study". This time the barium will go down his throat.

I have read that tonsils and adenoids can be among the organs affected when dealing with CF, but there is not much information out there about it. What experiences do you have? What were your symptoms? How were they relieved?<br><br>Thanks!<br>

Thanks for posting this. I am also interested in adding calories to our son's diet. I looked it up and was alarmed at the 33 g of fat per serving. I don't think the enzymes would be able to keep up with that. Maybe use just half? I think you should check with your dietitian before...

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I initially thought it was reflux. Then we did the swallow study. My problem with the swallow study is that they just put it through the g-tube, they did not have him swallow any...so we didn't see anything in the esophagus. They said the stuff in his stomach...
