Our 21 month old son has been vomiting once a day for about two weeks now. It is usually after lunch, when he is laying down for his nap, but not all of the time. His CF doctors don't know what is causing it. We have an appointment with his GI doc on Monday. I'm wondering if anyone here has...

You said you had constipation...are you taking Miralax daily? You could still have a blockage even though you are using the toilet every day. I would try that first. It is readily available over-the-counter at most pharmacies, pretty cheap, too.<br>

We've also had a hard time getting our son to eat. He's not really a picky eater, he just has no appetite. We've been using Pediasure 1.5, which he likes. We also use Duocal (2 scoops in 4 oz of YoBaby yogurt). We had to start using Cyproheptadine, which is an antihistamine, but increases...

I want to encourage you to explore adoption. We adopted our son through the "Special Needs Adoption Program" here in WI. The adoptions are free, the kids are fully covered by the state's health care plan, and the kids receive a monthly payment based on the severity of their needs (up to $2000...

Julie - Do you have any info specifically about WI? It was the "territory manager" that came to our house. He had a binder of diseases and looked up cystic fibrosis. It said uninsurable. That's when we talked about how our son is on Title 19 (Medicaid?) and we don't pay any premiums for him...

We had a rep come to our home a few days ago. Unfortunately, we did not qualify. First of all, the CFer can't get an individual policy (I think we all knew that), but, they can be a dependent. Second of all, in WI, if you are on Medicaid and don't pay anything for premiums, you are not able...
