Getting the most out of the vest

For those of you who have been using the vest for a while, how do you 'maximize' its impact? I've only tried on in the Dr's office at this point, so I'm not really sure what to expect. I guess it shakes the secretions loose, and you then use breathing techniques to move the stuff up to where...

AM Routine - Food before or after treatment?

I always eat after my morning treatments. It doesn't happen often, but occasionally I get into a coughing fit that makes me barf, so I'd rather get that out of the way BEFORE I eat.

What are the most common inflammation reduction meds/treatments?

What are some of the meds or methods used to fight chronic lung inflammation in cfers? I'm taking serevent, and just recently started on a daily oral antibiotic the name of which escapes me just now.

    Exercise making me sick?

Well, I just got back from another run/walk session (ralking?). Felt pretty damn good... I'm not doing any rehab overseen by a doctor. Not sure what that entails, but my pfts are still pretty good (FEV 107%, FEV1 86%), so I may not be at the point of needing something like that yet.
