If this is a recurrent problem ask your doc to put you on Valtrex daily. It won't help you much now, but over time you should have fewer/shorter/less painful outbreaks.
I officially go once per year for a check up and then as needed. I get really bad bloody noses and go in to get it cauterized every so often and sometimes my CF doc will tell me to go, so in reality I probably go 2-3 times per year.

Unless there is someone in the room who has a hard time with that particular neb, I don't think that filtering is worth it. I think it's annoying...harder to get a good deep breath. That said, I have heard of, but never met anyone, with severe allergies to TOBI. I also had an RT who would...

Do newborns fit into the category of "immunocompromised people who we can get sick" as their immune systems haven't had time to develop? I ask because my cousin is supposed to have her baby next week and I would really like to be waiting at the hospital with the rest of my family. The last...

Does she feel like she needs the O2 in the morning more than she did at night, causing the feeling that she was getting hooked? She might have the O2 turned up too high. If you are inhaling more than you need, it can cause the level of carbon dioxide to rise in your blood, making you more...

Just to be clear...this is not the normal way for aspergillus to infect CFers so I'm not trying to make anyone paranoid about growing it. I've cultured aspergillus a couple times before with no problem. I'm not allergic and my IgE levels are currently super low.
