whenever i have coughed up blood my doctor doesnt stop my albuteral just my hypertonic saline, air way clearance and pulmozyme! i would double check with your doctor as well though. You also want to make sure it is not a sign of an infection starting to brew. Your doctor might recommend you get...
well my pregnancy was great! i did experience pre-term labor (prob. due to my c.f the doctors think) at 29 weeks. They were able to give me meds to slow my pre-term labor symptoms and had me on bed rest until my sweet baby boy was here. he was 9 lbs and 2 oz...and was 3 weeks and 6 days early...

i went with a high risk doctor...bc there are more equipped to deal with unusual and unexpecting situations. Also they take extra percaution and do more regular ultrasounds, which i found very comforting! I was told that some cf-ers can have pre-term labor when i first became pregnant. and of...

My story is identical to yours. I too, have not been diagnosed with CFRD. i am glad you brought this thread up...u have gotten some good advice that i will take as well. Gatorade sounds like a good idea to drink during my workouts.

i have no advice for you as far as hot flashes and night sweats go...but i have to say how encouraging it was to come across this thread! I am so glad you are getting to worry about menopause (NOT IN A MEAN WAY) Haha!! It is just such a blessing to make it to that...

I was wondering if any of you C.F. ladies have been told, because of our unability to absorb things fully, that your birth control needs to be at a higher dose? I am not on birth control at the moment, i am on progesterone alone..this is to hopefully stop all my periods, bc my coughing up blood...

bless your heart, that feeling is so miserable and annoying! i hope the new meds will help you! I have never tried mucinex like some use on here..maybe you should try that..? i think i will too! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> or fizzy NAC?
