Hang in there and take a day at a time, You've got alot on your shoulders and if your not in counseling at the least I would consider it. As far as your GI tract goes have you tried playing with your diet and your enzymes, you may be not getting enough or dropping too many. and do keep in mind...

I've never heard of ringing in the ears being a problem while on Inhaled Colisten, I know its a problem with IV Tobi, AKA Tobramiacine (ok spelling is WAY off). If the ringing is the same cause as Tobra there isn't much to be done about it if anything at all. The Cilia in the inner ear get...
How old is the youngest that's having trouble with the treatments? It may also be that he/she is reacting badly to the treatments. I've got one chunk of ribs my self that hurt for days if I'm in a vest for even a min or two. I also react badly to most all inhaled antibiotics. Have you tried to...

Your husband is likely right about the salt screwing with the electronics. I can see where running hot would "solve" the problem or help. Salt's conduct electricity and so as you get a layer of salt built up in a device is bound to have a higher and higher chance of acting wonkie. On a side...

currently trials of this on DF508X are being set up, they are using this and something else (sorry i forget what exactly) in cunjunction. the DF508X mutations protines simply don't make it to the cell wall, its been known for years how to moblize the protines but not activate them at the cell...

I had some employers that told me don't even walk into the building with an IV line active, others it was doable simply because it was a 10 min IV push, so I took my break when it was time for the IV's and did them. Others not so much... But keep in mind I worked food service most my life.

Get her up & and get her active. encurage her to sing if she doesn't, I'm horrid but something about attempting the harmonics of notes causes the "slime" to break up.

Only advice my mom ever passed on from when I was that age was let me and my sister scream for a while each day to clean the airways, don't go neglecting them or anything but the more lungs are used early on the more you can work with later on.

I accutaly have more asma like issues if I don't get enough sleep on a regular basis, also genraly feel run over by something large and heavy if I don't sleep well. was a point like 5-6 years ago this wasn't the case so much but I was also a much younger man then, so I chalk some of this up to...

Well your in luck, keep his lungs clear for the first few years and he should be out home free, the G551D mutation has the next best thing to a cure, that just the other day passed FDA for ages 5 and up. And from what I understand DF508 is next on the list from what I hear is in the pipe lines.
