    vest

Our daughter was diagnosed at the beginning of September and we recieved our vest late October. The moment we started treatment with her, I knew there had to be a better way and work my butt off to get one. Our church had a fundraiser and raised all the money to purchase it. Ainsley was 2 1/2...

    ultrase vs creon

Just a thought, make sure that the problem is not a bowel that may be too acidic. Then the enzymes enteric coating will not be dissolved and the enzymes will be useless.

    new GI

Just a thought, maybe the bleediing has nothing to do with CF. I have a brother who had rectal bleeding, as well he was a constant worrier. He was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (ulcers in the colon causing bleeding), this is a disease that is exacerbated by stress. If he isn't already...

SCARED to death not sure where to go from here

HI Christie, I'm in the same boat as you. Our daughter Ainsley was diagnosed in Sept. It was more of a shock to the rest of the family than to myself. I had been saying for quite some time that I felt something wasn't right, but most people just treated me like I was being neurotic. When I told...

    Is there a need?

GREAT IDEA!!!!!! Funds are always tight in our house and I definately believe a sports atmosphere is great for kids. Physically as well as socially. Every bit helps. I was also thinking of starting a fund, but for the purchase of therapy vests. In Canada, not alot of people have them and we had...

what are you supposed to be doing

Sandy, I just reread your post and it touched me. I'm so sorry for your loss. I agree with you that time is precious, which is why I decided to stay home until all my children are in school. Part of my journey these past 5 mths (Ainsley was diagnosed in Sept.), is that I have learned to pray for...
