Sorry to hear about the CF diagnosis, but as you wrote it has been a 2 year journey for you at the very least you have some answers now. I do not have that gene you mentioned I have two of the DF508. Good to hear your lung function is good, keep it up!

I totally agree with melx!!! CFRD is just too strange. I can get the lows of 40-60 too! This happens to me in late afternoon / before dinner. Bottom line is really is just a constant monitoring and supplementing with food or juice or insulin when needed.

I use the TRIO AKA Eflow for my albuterol and Tobra or Colistin depending on the month. I do not use the control solution just seems to confusing. I do keep metal head in alcohol when not in use. And once a day I put metal head and plastic pieces in my Avent Steam Sterlizer (not the microwave...

I know when I first got Dx with CFRD I tried some oral medication and it just did not work in terms of sugars being so sporatic, maybe you would have better control with insulin even if it is just one unit with meals. I know I take very small amounts of insulin with meals, I think the most I...

That is a horrible copay of 1200 for TOBI but if you are on the assistance program then they are paying for it, right? are you frusterated with the other drugs that you do not get assistance with? Are you on Medicare or Medicaid? Maybe you can try for that too? Yes, it is totally frusterating to...
