I haven't personally, but my grandmother did. She does well with the nasal spray, though. I forget which one she is on, but there are several. Calcitonin, Miacalcin and I think one more, but I can't recall the name. Ask your doc if a nasal spray would be indicated.

I had a 6 pack when I was 15. It was from gymnastics. Most say that's a sissy sport, id like to see a football or basketball player try gymnastics.
In fact, many of the guys in my class were soccer players whose coach insisted they take gymnastics to improve their endurance, strength, balance...
I'm going to be doing a radio-isotope study in November, I think. It's a study to determine the efficacy of using surfactant to help spread antibiotics across the surface of the lungs.
I think the enrollment is open if anyone is in the Pittsburgh area.

Those are good PFTs, so don't fret.
Exercise has helped me tremendously, but there's a bit of luck thrown in there. CF is a complex disease in many ways, one of which is why it leaves some people relatively alone and kicks others butts. If he keeps up the exercise and takes care of himself...

Yes, I would say that's an expression of percent predicted, meaning that based on sex, height and weight the FVC was 120% of the predicted reference. A word of caution though, don't go by percentage alone. It can be deceiving. Let's say that your are short and thin, your reference value will...

My nutritionist put me on the Vit. D. I did not notice any real change or benefits. I've seen D3 supplements in the store, however I'm slightly confused by them. Vit. D is a fat soluble vitamin and the Rx comes in a gelcap with a liquid inside (just like Vit. E). So I'm wondering how a tablet...
