Cabner,
I'm sorry you and your baby are going through all of this. First question would be, was the sweat test done at a CFF accredited hospital? That's very important! Either way, I would order a DNA test...to be sure. The stools do sound familiar...but COULD be other things too. TRY not...
Christi,
yeah, we are in a suburb of Indy and a few days ago, it was hard for ME to breathe outside!!! Looking forward to a little bit cooler weather )

Thank you for this link. I often worry about my daughter (no cf) and the affects it will have on her. Even at 6, I can see characteristics that may be due to her brother having CF. Although he's doing well now, I fear about her emotional well being if he's hospitalized. They are EXTREMELY...
Thank you, Charlotte! He was going to be "Riley" if he had been a girl (Riley is the name of the children's hospital he goes to)...but we had to settle for "ER" (his initials! LOL!!!!
My mom makes 65 Roses Bracelets that I sell on my website (www.FightForEthan.com) and we give all but $15 back to CFF (what it takes to make them). But I also have the blue and purple awareness bracelets
We've traveled a few times w/ my CF toddler. Twice to Ft. Lauderdale from Indiana. So, if you're adding up those WONDERFUL, BONDING hours...it's 40 hours in a vehicle with a toddler and a preschooler. UGH! LOL!!!! Just try looking for a hotel at 10pm to do breathing treatments and to get the...
We love our Payton ) Might have to send you something...straight from Indy!!! Hmmmm...I'll have to think about that one! Is there anything you'd really like? (that you can't get from just anywhere??? lol!!!)
It's still hard for...
Brad,
That's very weird. I'm of Cherokee decent (Great-grandmother was full Cherokee). Hmmmm... *smiles*
Lindsey,
I again just must say, it's true. There's just something about people w/ CF. I truly believe, for one reason or another, that you all are chosen. I don't know why. Maybe it's...
Lindsey,
I must completely agree with you. I've thought this all along (nice to know I'm not just biased about my son *wink, wink*) All of the CF children (and adults) that I know...there's just something about them. They ARE special (and completely cute I might add. Isn't that what CF...

According to the CF Foundation, dairy does not make a BIG difference in mucous production. In fact it doesn't even make a noticeable difference unless you have dairy allergies. They in fact recommend drinking...
Again, you are in my prayers and thoughts today. I can't even BEGIN to imagine what you are feeling.
I plan on doing everything on the list today. I drank a Mountain Dew last night (which is NOT like me, but that's all there was ...

The Children's Motrin Cold has NO suppressants in it. She told me what the name of the ingredient was to stay away from and this doesn't have it. This is only pseudoephedrine? (nasal decongestant) and ibuprofen.
He also has D-Allergy prescribed by the clinic but only uses it on a need to...
