    I read that you would have to take massive amounts of it for it to make a difference. It wont hurt anyhow, except for the above mentioned effects! PS GSHor NAC might prove helpful. The type I use from Theranaturals also has tumeric in it.

    He choked on peanuts and now has a congested cough

    I agree. Children under the age of five should never be allowed to eat peanuts because they can (and do) accidently breath them into their lungs. I hope he is okay, but I would get him checked just to be sure.

    Thanks for replying Melissa. CF related is usually due to the pancrease/liver being damaged and not producing enough insulin AND/OR insulin resistance due to stress which produces cortisol and makes body more resistant to insulin or the use of drugs such as pregnisone (whatever it's called)...
