I find it's helpful when you're dry and trying to bring stuff up. But if you are already having a productive cough, sometimes it can make you cough too much and prevent sleeping.

Ok. I started using Vit C and I started myself on some prednisone I had laying around. At least until I know I can talk to my doctor. I wish I could be on Tobi, but I have some kind of bad reaction to it, it irritates my throat and I get these coughing exacerbations, til my chest starts...

I strap on my vest, and then I do my breathing treatments in this order: DuoNeb (albuterol and atrovent), pulmozyme, then my hypertonic saline, all while doing the vest. If I didn't do it this way, I'd be doing treatments 99.9% of my entire day. This way it saves time, and I don't find that it...

That's pretty much the exact same thing that happened to me, only they didn't go down that fast. I can feel the mucus moving in a certain part of my lung, and i hate that feeling... I'm not used to that. But If you try too hard to get it out, you will irritate your lungs and your throat, so...

I am glad to know that some of you still believe in optimism. I have been hearing that my whole life, that a cure would come soon, just because it hasn't come yet, I'm not going to stop hoping that it will. People say these things based on the rate of progress with gene therapy and such, and...
