104 Model vest - having problems?

Yes, I cannot imagine they sent a defective one. Even the lady said they go through "testing" before being sent out (as they are refurbished afterall). So, it must have past their quality control. I just think its odd that for 2 years it was very tight when it inflated and now it is very easy to push it in and breathe just all of a sudden.

Rockingdog: Could you push yours in all the way in the front or back even when it was inflated?? I mean on your new model?? I just wasn't able to do that before.

Sonia,

I doing the vest right now at level 12 with pressure 10. I can't push on it with my hand very easily. One thing you may want to check is if you have a leaking hose. I had one and didn't notice for months. The hose cracked and was letting out a ton of air. Also, though the vest does have holes for letting air out, perhaps one has expanded?

DS's inflates to the extent you can't push on it -- we do pressure of 10 with 10-12-14 --- it doesn't give at all once inflated. We've had it for 9 months and it has the holes in the side for letting air out, too. I'll have to check tonight if it give at all when we just turn it on before firing it up. I just notice it when he's using it 'cuz last night he kept falling over sideways and I'd end up propping him back up wondering how in the HECK can he be comfortable watching TV sideways while wearing the vest.
