Oh, I forgot to ask...
Can I ask how they know that you're resistant to the nebbed form? So, like would there be a test to tell if I'm resistant to Colistyn? And, with the new nebbed Aztreonam coming out, would anyone that tests resistant to aztreonam in the IV form also be resistant to the nebbed form? I'm just confused. According to my docs, it just wouldn't matter, cause they are testing a completely different form of the drug with different properties, and I personally would LOVE to know if nebbing certain things is no longer helping (i.e. colistyn, pulmozyme, aztreonam, etc...) so I wouldn't waste my time doing them. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I think its a good thing if we're able to know if we're resistant to something.
