Any CFers with high cholesterol?

Hey Girl,

I think I told you in a post somewhere that I do (sometimes) have high cholesterol. However, I am on enzymes and have been my whole life. My doctor never made any issue of it he figures that since I have CF that it's better to be slightly high than low. Right now, I'm tipping the scales at 119 lbs at 4' 11 1/2". Hey, every 1/2 inch counts when you're as short as me! LOL!

I actually have to go to the doctor this Wednesday and go over the most recent bloodwork results. They were drawn about 2 weeks ago and include cholesterol values. I'll let you know how it goes! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

i've always thought cfers tended to have low cholesterol. i myself have always been on the low side of normal. i remember i found out about 8 years ago that it was 90! and that was when i was eating a lot more red meat than i do now. since then i had it checked and it was about 120. i'm curious as to what it would be now.

Yeah, you are right. Mine doesn't sound as bad as yours. I think since you are pancreatic sufficient and now pregnant it is worse for you. Hopefully after you deliver, it will get better. C-ya! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">
