looking to saddle up my roo and hop over to america for a month or two and purge my mellon of its manic thoughts!! wondering of any ideas on where is an affordable place to stay thats good for hiking and writing. out in the sticks would be great, no big cities. surely someone will have a contact and by throwing this out there fate will carve me out a winner and i shall gain a cheap place to stay for a bit. i have a great place in Australia on the beach 250 miles north of Sydney if anyone interested in seeing if a swap would work out. cheers Blacky. wink.

go to new england. its absolutely beautiful. Hiking in New Hampshire in Mount Washington is absolutely breathtaking, i would recommend it more in the early fall when all the foliage is out, but the spring can be pretty too.
