Nightwriter had given me some info on purifiers given to her by her CF doc a few months back and linked me to the site of the one she has:

I just ordered the AirMedic Exec after discussing with a representative which would be best for me with a severe dust allergy and asthma. They're spendier than some on the market, but they have carbon filters in addition to HEPA, which I understand has even better air-cleaning qualities. Carbon is the stuff they use in gas masks for the military, so if it filters out chemicals in that case, I figure it will do the job in my bedroom. Its also on wheels, so I can wheel it to the room I'm in at any given time. Nice benefit IMO.
Anyway, I will update once I get it. It should ship this week. I'm sooo excited cause our house is very very dusty no matter how much we clean.
Oh, and as far as ozone, I used to have an ionic purifier that used ozone and never had any problem until I started having more issues with my asthma. Now, when I visit my parents, who have that kind, my lungs immediately feel tight and we turn it off for the duration of my visit.
