Allergy Testing

For me, SOB is really my second biggest symptom (first being sinus infections- they always come first <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> ). Since Spring and Fall are the biggest times that pollen is produced, it certainly could be an allergy issue. Starting Singulair made the biggest difference in my sinus infections (don't have nearly as many now) and the Advair has made the biggest difference in my SOB issues (inflamation from allergies).

After my sinus surgery I was able to breathe clearly again... but not long after I began battling sinus problems again. My ENT recommended an allergist.

Going through all the testing and shots isn't cheap, but I figure it's a whole lot less expensive than another sinus surgery and hospital bill! I'll do whatever I can to avoid surgery again.

SOB may be asthma allergy related. Have you ever tried Advair? I would definitely recommend seeing an allergist soon.

I had the skin test done when I was in my teens, and I think it was due to allergy-related symptoms.

The test I had done in Japan, was because I've been sent to the hospital twice, due to a rash that occured all over my body, sometimes followed by a horrendous cough, iching and nausea. Because it was becoming frequent, I asked for an allergy test. They didn't find what caused it, though I think it has to do with a spice, because it seemed that after eating some spicy italian, or even spicy japanese dish, it happened...anyway, I'm always keeping in mind what I've eaten in the past 24 hours to try and figure out what it might be.
