Thanks guys!! That is why I love being a part of this site....I feel somewhat normal!

I did not end up calling the doctor yesterday. I felt good in the morning, got up and actually ate something. The thing was I was eating stuff with the bactrim, I always do b/c I am afraid of puking, but I was under a lot of stress (assignments for school) and still not sleeping well. But then last night, I started to feel nauseaous again, around dinner time. So I just hope it gets better, its been since Tuesday.

Lindsey,

I was under the same impression, to not drink milk with these things, so I have been staying away. But I guess milk might be better if I am not eating as much b/c it has a little more to it than water.

zofran is decent IV but the pills do nothing, phenegren does nothing for me, benadryl helps at night, ativan helps a little bit but makes me tired, and i react really badly to reglan.

i have super bad nausea pretty much chronically due to abx and what works the best is marinol. it was kinda a last-ditch effort, but i've gained about 10 pounds between the antiemetic properties and the munchies it gives me. ginger, dramamine, none of the otc stuff helps me, and believe me- i've tried it all!

i know how debilitating nausea can be, so i hope you find something that helps soon!!
