hey all,
to those of you who have cfrd, do you go through periods where your glucose numbers are outrageous? I was doing such a great job and then all of a sudden, they've been getting progressively higher no matter what I do. I've increased my Latus up to 20 units (from 12) and it isn't helping. I was giving myself 1 unit per every 30g of carbs...now I'm doing 1 unit per 15g of carbs and still my sugars are sooo high. I just tried increasing my sliding scale today, so we'll see if that helps, but I'm at such a loss of what to do. My fasting sugar after breakfast (a bowl of cereal and a cup of coffee) was 336! I have an appt with my cf doc and my endocrinologist this week, but just wanted to know if there's anyone who can give me suggestions as to what to do (besides not eating carbs at all) to take the edge off of my sugars until I see the dr.
thanks
