Lindsay, they have learned that the patch (Ortho Evra) has 60% more circulating estrogen than combined pills .... so probably a good idea to stay away from that. Glad you like your IUD <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Can you tell me how you chose the Mirena (which has progestin in it) over the Paragard (no hormones)??????? I love this photo of you.

I was going for 5 years instead of 10, plus I liked the idea of not getting my period! It still comes every now and again, but not as often <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> (And I think at the time it was cheaper and covered by insurance)
PS-The photo is on the top of Torrey's Mountain which is a 14er in Colorado, it's one of my favorites as well!
