Can IV's and Piclines be placed Over Tattoo's?

There's a potential danger if, when you're having your veins accessed for a PICC (or other IV line), the needle could pick up some of your ink and get it into your veins. This is a very small risk, but one worth mentioning. Tattoos and piercings are a leading pathway for contracting hepatitis, so please be careful.

Rot and Roll,I turn 18 next year July 8th but i've been working on my sleeve since I turned 16 so I have pretty much all of it finished. Of course the artist will chage things and make it look better because im not a great artist but I basicly have the idea.<br>
And Mr.Bungle (Love the name! That is..if its implying to the band,lol) I was thinking about getting a bullseye around the area where most pics go on the inside of my arm actually. I thought it'd be pretty comedic for a doctor to start doing work and see that,lol.

Rot and Roll,I turn 18 next year July 8th but i've been working on my sleeve since I turned 16 so I have pretty much all of it finished. Of course the artist will chage things and make it look better because im not a great artist but I basicly have the idea.<br>
And Mr.Bungle (Love the name! That is..if its implying to the band,lol) I was thinking about getting a bullseye around the area where most pics go on the inside of my arm actually. I thought it'd be pretty comedic for a doctor to start doing work and see that,lol.
