I am currently attending a Community College in California and am having a hard time getting the accomodations that I need. Has anyone had this problem and what did you do about it? What accomodation helped you?

With a letter from the doctor, accommodations should be pretty easy to get.

What are you asking for and what are you having a hard time getting?

common accommodations are:
dorm living - single occupancy, fridge in the room, close to bathrooms

classroom - extra time to complete assignments if sick or hospitalized, advanced registration for classes that have a later start time (if you have trouble attending early morning classes, due to treatments)
