CF tummy ache

I have not had one of those classic CF tummy aches for years. You know the ones you get from too much fat! I use to get them all the time when I was younger until I went to a low fat diet when I met my husband. I was absolutely craving pot roast though....so made a fabulous dinner and enjoyed the heck out of it and then paid dearly for it. Anyway, I have NEVER had a remedy for when one starts. What do you all do? I know how to prevent them; but, sometimes you just slip up so how do I fix it? Antacids don't touch the problem cuz it is really not acid for me. I know a heating pad helps some; but, any other suggestions would be great. It was really miserable. BTW.....I know this sounds terrible and I don't know why this is the case; but, sex always works for me too. Not real convenient to have sex in the middle of the night though.

Sex works for me too!! But when I get a really bad tummy ache I DO use a heating pad and lay on one of my sides with my knees up towards my belly...like a fetal position...seems to help move things that are causing me problems...

I've read that ginger can help - I've had hot teas w/ ginger and that seems to help. I've also resorted to immodium, in desperate times.

Wow, another great reason to have sex. Sorry, I know the pain which you are talking about. I always curled up like a ball, or got on my fours and rocked and then curled up. Mine last about 30 min. Don't you wonder what is going on with that little pancrease of ours?
