Coughing up blood

Thanks for the responses, ladies!

Diane, I was kinda thinking that too, but didn't know if it could start being a hormonal thing this "late" in life... I'm also freaking a little cause I've now been spotting for like 12 days! Urgh... Could that be stress related? I was pretty stressed and busy on our recent vacation.


Liza, I checked the bottle of my ADEKs from Source CF... It has 625% of DV of vitamin K... How does that compare to what your DS's ADEK has in it? Interesting that I just assumed I was "covered" by all the vitamins when taking a vit formulated for CF.

Thanks again... I still am coughing up just a little bit of blood everytime I cough something up and am getting more nervous by the day... But, ya'll have helped put my mind at ease. Still looking for others' experiences with this....

Yours sounds like has more than enough Vitamin K -- The regular adeks drops has less than what is recommended. Come to think of it, I'd better check the label -- he switched to AquaAdeks this summer <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I find that so strange that something that should be formulated for CF (such as AquaADEKs) would have less than the recommended value of K... Seems ADE and K would be prevalent in such vitamins (especially given their namesake!)...

Sinus issues will make mine a little streaky sometimes.. It used to freak me out a lot, but I have noticed that when my stuff is streaky with blood I also have a stuffy , bloody nose as well. So I think maybe that could be sinus drainage and stuff...
