I am sure that you guys deal with this issue as well, but still wanted to ask to confirm in my mind that I am not wacky.
I can sometimes feel/hear mucus in certain areas of my lungs when I breathe. NOT like "I get pain where there is a plug" feeling. More like I can feel the resistance as if the airway is somewhat clear but there is a little bit of phlegm stuck in there that is making noise or whatever. I know it is not a loud noise because I ask my mom or Kurt if they can hear it when I breathe and they can't. I can just feel it resonate through me and it drives me insane.
I am bringing this up now because it comes and goes, and unfortunately right now I am experiencing this. I had my mom, Kurt and my stepdad each take turns doing manual CPT last night around the area I felt/heard the noise. That didn't dislodge it. I did my vest for over an hr yesterday that didn't help. Did extra treatments hoping to thin the mucus some and thus dislodge it - no luck. I also walked a mile hoping my breathing faster would move it out - nothing. I am sitting here this morning and thought for a moment it had gone away in my sleep - BUT ALAS it is still there. I have already done my morning meds and am currently doing my vest hoping to clear it out finally.
I was just hoping to hear that someone else experienced this as well. Also do any of you (if you do experience this) have any sure fire ways that work for you to get the crap cleared or at least stop the noise.
