When I saw a lot of you comment that you got one covered by insurance, I asked my doc if I could get one as well. I'm not even on O2 at home since I'm generally above 88 unless I'm really sick, but I told him I wanted to use it for exercise (which I do) since I'm starting to walk, and hopefully run soon. He was doubtful they'd cover it but the nurses I have are really the BEST at getting stuff covered, and they manged to get me one. <img src="">
It just got delivered today and I have to say... I was expecting the little all-in-one finger kind that just shows your pulse and O2. Instead I got a shoebox sized machine that plugs into the wall and looks like it came out of a hospital somewhere. I can't really complain much, but this kind of dashes away my thoughts of checking my oxygen while outside walking/running - I'll just have to do it as soon as I get back.
I was just wondering who else has a machine, and what kind you guys have? When do you use it?
