Exercise in your Treatment Routine

i haven't ever really thought about when the most "beneficial" time of the day to exercise is -- for me the most important thing is just to DO it every day.

my routine is almost identicle to kclynn87's.

MORNING--vest with HS & albuterol; pulmozyme; TOBI (*month on-month off)

AFTER WORK--30-45 mins of cardio at the gym (substitute an hour yoga class 1-2 times per week). (i occasionally ride my bike or walk the dogs and count that as my exercise for the day.)

EVENING--vest with HS & albuterol; TOBI*

my body seems to have gotten used to exercising around 5 pm i've been doing it for so long now. it seems like mornings might be the natural time to exercise for a lot of people, but i have too much stuff to do in the mornings already.

ideally, i should probably come home from the gym and do some vesting. maybe that is something i can try! but i usually get a lot up during my workout and on the way home.

oh, and some days i'll do 2 puffs of albuterol before i exercise, but many days i do none at all.

happy exercising, everyone! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Mon, Wed, and Fri I go to the gym before work. That is after I do my morning aresols/vest regimen + high protein/calorie food. It's mostly weight training though, with a crapton of walking/biking at work everyday during the week. While i'm not way congested now generally, I couldn't imagine trying to work out before/without clearing up via treatment as much as you can. Whenever i'm way chunky, the last thing I wanna do is work out.

I am like most people on here...I think that exercise is just important if you do it. I think it will be beneficial whenever you do as long as it is done (yes much easier said than done for me at least, lol). I personally will NOT get upearly to do meds/gym before work. For two reasons, 1: I am a substitute teacher, so sometimes dont have time if I get a call in the morning and 2: I NEED my beauty sleep! LOL. I like to watch my shows at night so I end up staying up.

I do find it interesting that doing these things helps if you do it before the gym.
