Help for Fart Odors

Well, if it makes you feel any better, Melissa, a lot of the enzyme cleaners include "children" in their lists <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0"> .

Dreft baby detergent has enzymes in it too (for just that same reason) so it may do a really good job on your cushion when you get it. I use it to wash bathroom rugs (and anything else that was left on the floor when the cat has a bladder infection*sigh*) and it does a pretty good job!

This may sound a bit nuts but have you tried putting the chair outside for a few hours? Its worth a try if nothing else works. I cant take the smell of anything that has a smell so the carpet fresh and the sprays would be out for me.

there is this thing called an ozone machine, i think, that basically blows ozone into the air and it attaches to "impurities" in the air and causes them to fall to the ground because they become too heavy to float, i know they will kill the potent odors that i have produced in the past, and one of my friends said it took out the "male cat pee" smell out of carpet which is especially potent. From what i hear they are somewhat expensive and i have no idea what they do or don't do for cf lungs but i wouldn't think it would do anything. Hope you get the smell out. Also does the chair have a removable cushion like some couches? if so it'll have a zipper at the back of it and you can just replace the foam cushion inside it and wash the outside cover. it worked for the couch where i spend a lot of time lol.
