Hey Mel,
you could try teetree oil mixed with water so you can put it in a spray bottle, and just spray it when ever? We use this to clean our massage tables, I also spray it in the room after a smelly client! However, my table is leather so I don't know what it'll do to cloth. But yeah leather chairs are a good idea.

OMG! I am so laughing right now. Thanks, Mel, for posting this! I happen to be married to a very smelly man. BigBee can vouge for this. (Since Emily was born, whenever someone goes "Eeeeeewwww, what IS that smell?" he just smiles and says "Symptomatic carrier." I told him I don't think that's one of the symptoms they were talking about. Anyway, there are a few places in our home that have met the same fate as your beloved chair. Don't worry, I'll be trying some of the suggestions on this thread, too. And, at least you have an "excuse." DH does NOT!

I AGREE WITH LIGHTnLIFE

i had an ozone machine and a CF doctor told me it was ok and guess WHAT? I ruined my lungs. STAY AWAY. I needed my transplant right after having one for a few months. I do not think there was a coincidence. I do not even believe in using hepa filters unless the house or surrounding areas have had smoke fires.

There is a product from QVC by Don Astlet XO deordoizer. I believe it will be strong enough for a CF FART!

Someone should start a website called http://cftartfart.com

The advertising campaign would be a real GAS.

After my first transplant, I took this one drug weekly and boy oh boy if I took the "N" out of my last name they could have called me Risa Gas.
