I see my sister posted that I was admitted to the hospital so I thought I would give a little update.
They did the chest x-ray and sputum tests yesterday, however, the dr. that came in this morning said they were having trouble with the computers and weren't able to get the x-ray yet.
As Lisa said in her post, I don't think it is anything serious. I had caught a virus and it just ended up in my lungs. I had my usual check up scheduled for next Tuesday, but I was feeling bad enough that I didn't think it would be a good idea to wait til then. I was running a low grade fever, wheezing, and chest pain in my upper lobes and in my right lung. When I called the dr. he said it sounded like I needed to come in.
They started 3 antibiotics, tobramycin, piperacillin, and vancomyacin. I had a reaction to the vancomyacin, so they discontinued it.
They only thing I know thus far is that my white blood count last night was a little elevated and this morning it is down to normal. So, I think I caught it early.
Thank you for your prayers and I will keep you all updated.
Thanks.

PS Just so you know, my usual bugs are burkholderia gladioli and staph
