I went to an accupuncturist once who introduced me to the book "Healing with Whole Foods; Asian Traditions and Modern Nutrition".
In it, it talks about treating many different ailments depending on the natural temperatures of the disease or sickness at hand. It talks about lung issues being 'hot', which means a helpful method would be to have "cooling" drinks or foods. Peppermint and Spearimint type teas are suppose to be the best at opening inflamed lungs and sinuses, etc. That cooling quality is suppose to be very helpful. The book is awesome though and discusses a lot of different things to try. All in all I had a great experience seeing that accupuncturist. I had no idea I was going to learn all that I did with 2 visits. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
For me coffee also opens me up in the morning.
