Mercy is on NBC right now and it's showing Cystic Fibrosis and Transplant.

Is anyone else watching? And anyone else miffed at how wrong they are getting it?

I saw a lot of it, and so far, I didn't think it was so bad.. They showed the vest, coughing up and things like that. At least it was some publicity. I don't expect them to have everything down pat but hey publicity is publicity as far as I am concerned.

They just weren't even in the ball park with the transplant portion. They just made it seem so easy. To me it seemed like: hey you need some new lungs. We will run out to the store and get a pair and get them in you later. Cool? Great.

Lol. It was just really a reduction and dumbing down of the whole thing.

I totally missed the vest in the diner, and I totally agree how rediculas they made it look to get new lungs.. It did make it seem like all they needed to do was go to the store to get them and it would have been better if they would have addressed the full impact on the need for organs but I have never seen a vest used on TV before, nor have I heard about anyone getting CPT for CF on TV
