no it's not.

Augmentin is Amox + Clavulanic acid.

HUGE difference when you're talking about treat certian bacteria. Some bacteria are amox resistant but amox/clav sensitive.

Here is a link to the CFF website with a listing of florida care centers, it doesnt seem like many so I am sure there are more but this is what I found at first glance.

Get yourself to a CF care center asap you are young enough and healthy enough that if you get some good care now you can bounce back quick and hopefully prevent permanent damage. It doesnt really matter why your dad thinks that doc is good the CFF lists accredited centers that meet certain criteria and that is where you should go for appropriate treatment if this doc isnt accredited ditch him.

good for you btw to be getting involved in your treatment and having your voice be heard it is the first step in being your own advocate
