Need help finding clinic in the Netherlands

Hi, My daughter is going to apply for SSD and they want all the doctors she's ever been to. For most people that wouldn't be a problem, but we are recently retired Air Force. She has been to 9 different CF clinics in 6 different states and one country overseas. If SS wants to contact any of her primary care doctors that will be a huge challenge as they were all military and scattered around the country at this point.

Before I go unpack her medical records looking for the address to her clinic in the Netherlands I thought I'd ask if anyone knows how to find a clinic in Europe? As you all know those records can be thick! I can't believe how much trouble I"m having. I found clinics on-line way back when we found out we could be going to Germany and I can't find it now! That was back in 1997! I had to know my girls could get medical care so that I could give that information to the AF.

I know the name of the hospital and tried a search for that but couldn't come up with the clinic or the doctor. Again, I found it the year we came back but can't now. How strange is that? Not to mention my reading of Dutch has gotten worse than when we were there. I knew enough to get by and figure out where I needed to go.

I know there is at least one Dutch on our boards here but for the life of me I can't recall her name. She had a transplant recently, this year. If you know it or can help me I'd so greatly appreciate it.

The clinic I'm looking for is the University Academic Hospital Maastricht, Netherlands. (Academisch Ziekenhuis Maastricht, NL) she saw Dr. Hendricks there. I believe he was the director then.

Please, please, please anyone that can help me at least find where I can look for clinics in Europe that would be great. I've exhausted all of my searches.

This may be a stupid question but did your daughter go to that hospital for CF treatment or something else..That way I could search for specific departments like pulmonology, pediatrics ect. Would the name of that one doctor be hendricks, JJ by any chance.

Hi Jade, Yea, my daughters went to the CF clinic there. Poli clinic I think it was. I can't recall Dr. Hendricks first name or initials. I remember he went to the CF conferences here in the US every year. He was great. Anna was admitted to the hospital there twice. (she says she thinks it was three times)

I found this information on the hospital's website

0031 43 387 65 43 is the number where you could reach them from the US. You could always call that number and ask for them to refer you to the Pediatric clinic, de kinder poli.

I send one of the girls a text message and she answered right back Dr. Hendricks is still there. She said he is head of the children's clinic.

You must be able to speak to him by trying to general phone number from the hospital that i posted in my previous post and ask to speak to Dr. Hendricks, head of the childrens clinic.

Hope you can get all the info you need now! Good luck, trying to find the other doctors.

If not, just ask again
