I see Dr. Slovis, although there are several doctors there in the Adult CF Clinic. I think I saw a Dr. Willers, also. They've all been very nice. The CF Nurse, Danet, is very on top of things and great at returning calls/taking calls.

I see Dr. Slovis, although there are several doctors there in the Adult CF Clinic. I think I saw a Dr. Willers, also. They've all been very nice. The CF Nurse, Danet, is very on top of things and great at returning calls/taking calls.

Dr. Slovis was a big shift from Dr. Harris when I changed from the Childrens sections (more serious and down to business) but I've grown to really like that she "tells it how it is", she understands that we know our bodies better than anyone and will be very straightforward and honest.

Danette has helped me so much with anything I needed, plus her accent is awesome. ;-)

I used to live in KY and we went to the Knoxville CF Center for several years. Since we moved I have taken my girls to 4 different CF Centers and I would say in a heartbeat that I have never felt as good about a dr as I did in Knoxville. We saw Dr. John Rogers. He was absolutely the best dr ever. If I lived within 10 hours even, I think I'd still take the girls to see him. I don't know if they have an adult clinic and if so he may only see children, but I'd certainly give it a try. He is absolutely wonderful.

Best wishes to your sister... Knoxville is a wonderful place! I miss it like crazy. I live in West Texas now... a completely different world!
