I had no idea Knoxville had a CF clinic. Debby, let me know what you find out although I do like Vanderbilt. Knoxville is closer, though...

I went on the CFF website and got this info...looks like Dr. Rogers is still there and sees both children and adults.... I would highly recommend him. It was our first CF Center and he was the one who nursed Kaitlyn back to health once she was finally diagnosed at 2 1/2 years old. She was near death so many times before that and within 6 months of her diagnosis she was a completely different child. She wasn't hospitalized again for over 9 years. Of course a lot of that was simply that we knew what to treat, but either way, he was just wonderful with my girls. I also remember reading here on a post a while back that the CF Center in Knoxville was in the top 10% in the country for the highest life expectancy (can't verify that, but remember reading it and wasn't really suprised). Anyway, good luck! I hope this info helps. (oh, I don't know if he still has the same nurse, but her name was Kia De'Angelo and she was also fantastic)...

East Tennessee Children's Hospital (PEDIATRIC AND ADULT)
Knoxville, TN 37916
Appointments: (865) 541-8698
Director(s): John Rogers, M.D.

Let me pass on another phone # instead of that last one... That is to the actual clinic, but to Dr. Roger's office directly, the # is 865-637-8481. You can use either, I am sure. I always saw him in his private office and never actually went to the clinic... But they are in the same building.
