My system basically mirrors that of NYCLawGirl -- also, like her, it took quite the effort just to become compliant to begin with! Back in HS, I was terrible with compliance and adherence to anything resembling a steady regimen. It took more than a few hospitalizations and being read the riot act from my doctors to wake me up. Now, though, I don't go to class or attend social functions without completing my treatments. And since I have a feeding tube I don't leave the house for the evening until everything is set up and ready to go once I get home. Nothing is worse than haggling with yourself at 230am over whether or not you want to set up your feeding. Believe me -- the answer is usually no!
